I've begun using my log book every time I write and I really enjoy it. I look forward to seeing the pattern of my writing sessions when I finish logging them all in, but for now I'm just enjoying the brief journaling session after my writing days. Notes From the Writer's Desk - 100 Day Log Book by Davina Rush is mostly a DIY journal for the budding writer to keep track of 100 days in projects. It also has a page for Future projects and ideas, and a goals page. The rest are fill in log pages to list date, project, mood, what got done etc. Rather simplistic, but it is a blank book with a specific purpose which may motivate some writers (hint to self) to stay on track. Opposite pages are blank, so one could perhaps write directly those ideas right in the journal then move them to word processing program.
